Reminder - we are updating our computer systems

This is just a gentle reminder that the surgery will be undergoing a major system upgrade at the end of this month.

We will be switching off our online services over the weekend of 24th/25th October. Over the last days of October and the first couple of weeks of November we need you to bear with us as we set up, and get our final stages of training on the new system.

Please could you try to avoid ordering prescriptions between 29th Oct - 3rd November.

IMPORTANT News - A Major System Update

Every once in a while a system needs a major upgrade, and General Practice is no different.

 

For a two week period at the end of October/beginning of November the surgery will be moving to a brand new clinical system, EMIS Web. This represents a major upheaval at the practice during which time all operations of the surgery will be affected.

SMS reminder service due to end in September

We regret to inform our patients that the SMS reminder service provided to the Surgery by the NHS will be ending at the end of September 2015.

This is because the service will no longer be funded centrally.

At this point in time we are unsure if local commissioners will have the funds to replace the service.

We are now Booking Flu Clinic Appointments!

Yep, its that time of year once again! The appointment books are open for this year's flu vaccination clinics.

The dates we have announced so far are:

Saturday 19th September, Waterfront Surgery 8.30am - 12pm

Thursday 1st October, Waterfront Surgery 7pm - 9pm

Saturday 10th October, Hythe & Dibden Parish Hall, West Street 8am - 1pm
