Fed up of collecting the paper prescription and taking it to the chemist and waiting for it to be prepared?

You can now have your prescription transmitted electronically straight to a chemist of your choosing, near your home, work or wherever is convienient.

Saturday blood tests at Waterfront Surgery

Did you know that from 1st August the Surgery will be open every Saturday for blood tests?

SMS Alerts not working properly

This is to notify patients that since the NHS swapped suppliers for its SMS alerting service (the service we use to remind you of your appointment) it has been a little bit unreliable. We apologise but it is out of our hands!
For those that are interested the NHS moved from Vodafone to EE!

The West Hampshire Dementia Roadmap

 
As you may know, this week is Dementia Awareness Week. As part of our locality's ongoing support for patients dementia and their families the new Dementia Roadmap has been published.

The West Hampshire Dementia Roadmap provides high quality information about the dementia journey alongside local information about services, support groups and care pathways to assist primary care to support people with dementia and cognitive impairment, their families and carers.

Another successful PPG Meeting

Once again our Patient Participation Group (PPG) excelled in bringing together a very popular meeting last week all about dementia.

We would like to thank the brilliant speakers who came to give a fascinating talk and we look forward to more meetings organised by our PPG.
